Infraestructura Santuario de la Naturaleza Cerro Poqui
Infrastructure Santuario de la Naturaleza Cerro Poqui
Part of "Taller Diseño y Paisaje" course in 2021
The Cerro Poqui Nature Sanctuary is home to a rich ecosystem of flora and fauna that is unique in its kind. Within it, there is a building called Chalé de Piedra, which is located in a privileged spot, surrounded by the great biodiversity that makes up the Hygrophilous Forest and the Los Calabozos Creek, which is the habitat of valuable species such as the Cantillana Spiny-chested Frog. Its increasing attendance has endangered the native species that inhabit and coexist between the forest and the creek, being a great need to raise awareness, revalue and limit the territory, responsibly encouraging the conservation of the species that this place gives us.
Our project consists of the creation of infrastructure and signage that aims to protect the biodiversity of the protected area and educate visitors. Currently, the project is in its implementation stage.
